Shadilver: I See Stars [1]

 The loneliness, it kills me sometimes. I've been alone for quite some time now. Ever since my best friend passed away. Anyways, my name is Silver, Silver The Hedgehog. Few years ago, I was probably one of the happiest hedgehogs on mobius. Well, I wouldn't say too happy, but anyways. I had a pretty average life. You know; a decent house, very awesome friends to hang out with and let's not forget my best friend Blaze! *sighs* Well, sadly she's not among us anymore. Blaze wasn't just a friend to me. She was almost like a sister to me. We grew up together, we were there for each other. Thru thick and thin. To have her just... die at such a young age. It really kills me that I couldn't do anything to save her. After losing her, I felt like she took a part of me with her. I'm not that same hedgehog that people knew before. Who am I? To be honest, i'm not so sure myself.
 I've isolated myself from the world. I only go out when I need to. I haven't talked to Sonic and the gang in years. Well, I wouldn't say years, but I just don't feel like talking to anyone. I've run into them a few times every now and then. I try to avoid any type of conversations with them. It's always the same 'Silver what's wrong? Silver how are you feeling? Silver you need help. Silver let us help you. Silver blah blah blah!' Why don't they understand that I want to be alone?! They always come by my house to check up on me. I rarely answer the door and I always have the blinds shut. I wouldn't say that i'm depressed. I looked at myself in the mirror. Man, it looks like I haven't slept in months. I sighed and splashed some water on my face. I walked out the bathroom and made my way to the kitchen.
 I opened one of my cabinets and took out a small cup. I used my telekinesis to open the fridge and pulled out a milk jug. As I set the jug on the counter, I heard a knock on the door. I clenched my fists and made my way to the door. I looked through the peephole, I didn't see anyone. As I backed away, they began to knock again. Without hesitation I quickly opened the door.
"Who's ther-" I was cut off by a yellow kitsune rushing in and hugging me.
"Silver!" he cried
"T-Tails? What are you doing here?" I gave him a soft smile.
"Silver, we are all worried about you! You've been like this for far too long! We want to help you Silver! Please, let us!" he yelled
I sighed and softly pulled him off me. I kneeled down to his level and put my hand on his shoulder.
"Tails, don't worry about me. I'm fine, it's just that... well I haven't really been in the mood to talk to anyone lately. Trust me, i'm fine Tails." I gave him a soft smile
"No you're not! Have you looked at yourself in the mirror!? You're not the same hedgehog that we all know! S-silver, you need to let her go. I know how much she means to you, but you have to move on. Blaze would have wanted that." My smile faded and I let go of Tails and looked away.
"Tails, I think you should head home." I got up and pointed out the door.
"B-but Silver." I picked him up with my telekinesis and carried him out the door. I set him down gently and started to close the door.
"Silver wai-!" I closed the door cutting him off. I looked thru the peephole and saw Tails walking away with his head down. I clenched my fist and punched the wall. I hold in my scream as I began to sob. I looked at the small dent I made on the wall. I feel like such an jerk sometimes. It really hurts to see Tails sad, especially since I caused it.
*few hours later*
After eating a quick snack, I made my way to my room. I hopped on my bed and began to fall asleep. My ear twitched as I heard a knock on the door. I growled and tried to ignore the knocks, but with every passing second they just seemed to be getting louder.
*few seconds later*
Damn who ever is at the door! Can't a hedgehog sleep in peace? I got up and made my way to the door. I took a look thru the peep hole. I could not believe it. Is my mind playing tricks on me? I slowly opened the door.
"Silver, we need to talk."
"Sh-Shadow?" Never in my life, would I see someone like Shadow at my doorstep.
